additional thoughts
I think that people from different locations, different cultures and also different economic circumstances share different views about designers. Some think that designers are somehow unnecessary, because their environment is not dependent on the work of a designers. Other people however might consider designers as very important since they are heavily dependent on their work (consider big firms or global players where design plays a crucial role in product sales).

about the others’ behaviour?
What I like: designers have great ideas and are sometimes the forerunners of our society. What I don’t like: in my eyes some designers feel “cooler” than they are, just by being a designer.
